Welcome. Woodward's 43 is a residential building. Please treat your neighbours and all common areas with respect. For a pleasant stay and your own safety, take a moment to review the rules below before your arrival.
No parties or events
Parties and events of any kind are strictly prohibited anywhere in the building.
Any violation results in immediate termination of your stay with no refund.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
To avoid noise complaints, please keep volumes low and ensure balcony doors and windows are shut after 10:00 PM.
No smoking
Any form of smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit, on balconies, and throughout all common areas.
Packages and mail
The building cannot receive or hold mail or packages on behalf of guests. Please arrange delivery to a local post office box or pickup location instead.
Concierge services
Building concierge services are reserved for residents and may not be used by guests except in cases of genuine emergency.
No waiting in common areas
Waiting in the lobby or hallways with luggage for extended periods is not permitted at any time. The concierge is authorized to enforce this rule.
Building amenities
Building amenities are not available to short-term rental guests and are off-limits at all times.
Visitors
Additional visitors are not permitted unless approved by your host in advance. Any approved visitor must be accompanied by you at all times, and you are responsible for providing their access into and out of the building.
Building security: do not let strangers in
When entering or exiting through the lobby or parkade, never hold the door or gate for anyone you don't know. Always make sure the door or gate has fully closed behind you before you leave.
Parking
If parking is provided, you must use only the designated stall assigned by your host.
Parking in any other stall will result in an immediate tow at your expense.
Your host provides the fob you need to get in. It is scanned at the lobby door, the elevator, the parkade entrance and the garbage room. Follow these four steps when you arrive.
-
1
Find the residential lobby
The entrance is at 128 W Cordova St, behind the glass doors marked 128. The entry panel is in the recess to the left as you face the doors.
-
2
Call the unit if needed
Press # to browse the directory, then dial the code shown to the right of the name. Hold # or * to scroll faster. If your host gave you a fob, skip to step 3.
-
3
Tap your fob at the lobby door
Hold the fob against the black reader to the right of the directory panel, then pull the door open.
-
4
Tap your fob in the elevator
Hold the fob against the black reader below the floor buttons, then press your floor. The fob is required for every floor except the lobby.
Tap any photo to open it full size.
If your check-in is later in the day or your checkout is early, your host may be able to hold your bags inside the unit on request. If that isn't possible, the following nearby luggage-storage spots offer cheap, secure short-term bag check.
If your host has provided a parking stall
You may use the building's parking lot at the stall number assigned by your host. To access the lot:
- First, collect the garage fob from inside the unit. If you haven't checked in yet, park temporarily in a safe location nearby and follow your host's check-in instructions to gain access first.
- Drive to the parking garage entrance in the alleyway: view on Google Maps.
- Enter through the first large gate and go down the ramp. You will be met with a second gate directly in front of you (Woodward's residence sign). Enter that gate to go down to P2. Wait for the gate to fully close behind you before proceeding.
- Park in the stall number provided by your host. Parking in any other stall will result in an immediate tow at your expense.
- Follow the elevator lobby signs to access the elevators.
If your host has not provided parking
Below is a map of nearby parking lots. Tap any pin for details and directions in Google Maps.
Gate hours vary by lot and are not always 24/7. Confirm the posted entry and exit hours before parking. Leaving outside those hours may not be possible until the gate reopens, which could leave you locked in or locked out overnight.
How do I enter and exit the building?
The fob or garage opener provided by your host must be scanned at each of the following access points:
- Lobby entrance
- Elevator access to any floor (other than the lobby)
- Parkade entrance
- Garbage room
For a photo of each step, see Getting In.
Where do I dispose of my garbage?
- Using your fob, take the elevator to the P1 level.
- Follow the signs to the garbage and recycling room, which has a yellow door.
- Please keep your fob with you at all times. You will also need it to exit the garbage and recycling room, so do not set it down or leave it behind.
- Please dispose of all garbage properly and in the correct bins.
To prevent damage and jams, please do not place the following items in the garbage compactor:
- Cardboard, paper, or recyclables (plastics, cans, and containers)
- Glass of any kind
- Hazardous materials such as batteries, paint, or chemicals
- Electronics
- Large or bulky items
These items must be recycled or disposed of separately in the appropriate bins.

The building has 24/7 concierge and security. Common areas are monitored by cameras for the safety of guests and residents alike. Please note that any infractions will be reported promptly to your host, and fines may apply. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate removal from the building.
